Welcome to my website!
Grown up in a big family where the house was dailey filled with musical sounds, coming from brothers & sisters making music together and also from our mother who played piano.
As a little girl I was always attracted to the stage and still cherish the moments I was dancing and singing (mostly playback, haha…) at school with my school friends.
In later years singing and dancing became more serious and I gained experience with some groups in different genres, what was a lot of fun!
But: in 2002 the Gospel music came on my path which gave an unmatched & positive change in my life; both personally and musically. It’s still one of the biggest enrichments for me and I feel very blessed.
From then on I did more & more performances on different stages, until 2016 with the Gospel Groups: ‘More Gospel’ (founded by Joany Muskiet) & the Gospel Group ‘ Valentine’/ Loraine Gospel Singers , two successfully groups in the Netherlands, but also in Belgium and Hungary.
In 2008 I released my first solo album ‘I’m Ready’, which contains mostly Gospelmusic in different styles, covers and own songs.
After a little break since 2016, I’m back now!
The last years I wrote new songs and some of those are already released.

About the song:
In a lifetime we sometimes can go through difficult times….. But some painful situations, which in the midst of all the misery, can shake you up inside and push you in a certain, new direction. … what can finally make you grow as a person. When ‘one day’ you make that one, specific decision that might be defining for the rest of your life. That moment when you decide to dry all your tears, take a deep breath, stand up and look forward to what else heaven has in store for you. That first step to let the river inside you, flow again…..for making new memories. Hopefully new & happy memories.

Lyrics ‘New Memories’
Verse:
Sometimes in life there can be sad seasons…
When broken dreams has grown and grown…
The golden colour in summer becomes a grey fall
From a nightingale song into a screaming midnight call…
Chorus:
But what can it give to you….
What does it tell in the midst of the blues…
Maybe it’s the need for a change, a refreshing spring breeze…
Cause it could be…..the time for making new memories….
Verse:
Too often, too many ‘hurries & worries’
So the heart can’t catch the sunlight’s warmth…
All dried up tears fill the “River of Emptiness”…..
Like a breathing first strong and now nothing more than less…..
Chorus:
But what can it give to you….
What does it tell in the midst of the blues…
Maybe it’s the need for a change, a refreshing spring breeze…
Cause it could be…….the time for making new memories…..
Bridge:
Don’t give up, don’t let go
By follow the inner voice that wants to show
A sound from heaven that goes right through sorrows & pain
Try to forget all the sadness and finishing, building cherry blossom lanes
Take the key to forgiveness, to conquer old hurricanes
Start a new beginning
It’s never too late for a cleansed inner land
And creating bèst memories, like everlasting sparkling in white golden sand
Chorus:
Some moments encourage you
An awakening in our deepest blues…
Maybe it’s the need for a change, a refreshing spring breeze….
It can be….. jùst the right time for making new memories….
New and happy memories…..
Outro:
One, two, three, four (Closing an ancient gate can lead to a new door)
Five, six, seven, eight, (No, it’s never too late)
Spring, summer, fall, winter (Whether it’s spring, whether it’s summer, fall or winter…)
Nine, ten, eleven, twelve (In every season of life, we can make a new choice….to make the best of it!)
But: don’t forget to keep your eyes on heaven
